To transform the spiritual, economic and cultural climate of Oregon through marketplace leaders of faith.
Secular chambers of commerce exist to do three things: (i) support members in building their businesses, (ii) advocate for the business community with local, regional and state governments, and (iii) engage in charitable activities in support of the business community. For the most part, chamber members view the purpose of business as "making money."
A "Christian" chamber shares these three main objectives, with some critical differences, grounded in the foundational belief that entrepreneurship is a God-given calling, and that the main purpose of business is to advance the Kingdom of God in the marketplace, through the platform of business, using the skills, abilities, resources and influence of the owners and their business. Therefore, as a 501c6 nonprofit mutual benefit corporation, a Christian Chamber of Commerce exists to do these five things:
(i) Create a community of marketplace leaders of faith (that currently does not exist), to encourage, pray for, embolden and support one another in our faith and work journey.
(ii) Support business leaders and their employees in their spiritual growth and in their pursuit of the Great Commission.
(iii) Support business in growing in profitability and enterprise value on a Godly, Biblically-based foundation. Profit is good. Profit is necessary. Profit is evidence of a well-run business. Businesses should be run with excellence, because operating a quality, God-honoring business is a form of worship. In addition, your well-run business serves as a great witness to a watching world.
(iv) Advocate for faith-based businesses with local, regional and state governments. No group currently exists that advocates for Christian business owners. Therefore, our voice is unheard, so it can't shape policy. Christian elected officials have no backup and support from the Christian business community in their efforts to hold the line on unBiblical policies. The Oregon Christian Chamber will address that, as the founder has direct connections with every Christian elected official at the state level. Imagine the impact a few thousand Christian business leaders will be able to have on our government officials. What if our message was so compelling it caused non-believing officials to seek Christ?
(v) Provide charitable support to worthy Christian ministries and nonprofit organizations.
1. Join to support the Oregon Christian Chamber in its mission to transform the spiritual, economic and cultural climate of Oregon. Our state is beautiful, and we love living here, however, we currently rank in the worst of all states in nearly every category:
As a community of Christian leaders, we can make an enormous impact in all those areas.
2. Join to support our faith-based advocacy efforts with government officials on behalf of your business.
3. Join to enhance your business profitability, enterprise value and operating effectiveness.
4. Join to grow spiritually in a community of like-minded leaders.
Although the Oregon Christian Chamber offers plentiful opportunities for you and your employees to engage and benefit, there are no set time requirements. You choose from a wide range of educational, spiritual and connection activities at your discretion. We'll provide great opportunities to gather, learn and grow together, however you and your employees are not obligated to attend any of them. Pick and choose as you desire.
The 5th annual Excellerate Central Oregon Business Forum is coming up November 4, 2026 from 6:30-10:30am at the Riverhouse Convention Center. Approximately $4 billion worth of annual revenue will be represented there by hundreds of regional business leaders. Save the date and look for registration information to come.
The 12th annual Central Oregon Prayer Breakfast will be scheduled for the spring of 2027. We'll fill the Riverhouse Convention Center with leaders from across the region. It's the largest prayer breakfast in the state.
The Oregon Christian Chamber is organized as a 501c6 nonprofit mutual benefit corporation. Confirm with your CPA, but your membership fees should be tax deductible as an ordinary business, marketing and professional development expense.

Help build a vibrant community of marketplace leaders. Invite other Christian business owners to join us.
There is no other organization in Oregon offering all the benefits of membership in the Oregon Christian Chamber. Not only will your friends find great value in participating in our community of leaders for themselves, their employees and their businesses, but every new member contributes to the wellbeing of all and strengthens our missional impact. Although it sounds cliche, running a business can be lonely. Running a business as a Christian can be even lonelier. Running a business as a Christian in Oregon can be really tough. Having a Christian band of brothers and sisters makes all the difference. Your invitation to all your Christian marketplace friends...colleagues, customers, vendors, creditors, landlords, and yes, also competitors, will be one of the greatest gifts you could offer.
