How the Oregon Christian Chamber of Commerce collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.

Last updated: June 6, 2026

The Oregon Christian Chamber of Commerce (“OCC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at oregonchristianchamber.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site or providing information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

01 Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you apply for membership, register for an event, make a donation, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us, you may provide details such as your name, business or organization name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and information about your business or ministry. If you make a payment, your billing information is collected and processed by a third-party payment processor — we do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and how you interact with our pages. This information is gathered using cookies and similar technologies, described below.

02 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and manage membership applications, renewals, and member benefits;
  • Communicate with you about your membership, events, programs, and chamber news;
  • Send newsletters and updates you have requested (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • Register you for events and process donations;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the services we offer;
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of our members and the chamber.

03 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to remember your preferences, keep the Site functioning, and understand how visitors use our pages. We may also use third-party analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to measure traffic and improve the Site. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent; however, some parts of the Site may not function properly without them.

04 Membership Management & Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party platforms to operate the chamber. Our member directory, event registration, member login, and online membership applications are powered by a third-party association management platform (GrowthZone), which hosts these features on a chamber-branded member portal. When you apply for membership, register for an event, make a payment, or log in to the member portal, your information is collected and stored by that platform in accordance with its own privacy practices. We also work with service providers for payment processing, email delivery, and website analytics. These providers may use your information only as necessary to provide services to us, and are expected to safeguard it.

05 How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who perform functions on our behalf — such as membership management, payment processing, email, and analytics — under obligations of confidentiality;
  • In our member directory: if you are a member, your business listing and the contact details you choose to publish may be displayed publicly so that other members and the community can connect with you;
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the chamber, our members, or others; and
  • In connection with a merger, reorganization, or similar event affecting the chamber.

06 Your Member Directory Listing

Membership may include a public listing in our online directory. You control what information appears in your listing, and you can update it or request its removal at any time by contacting us or through your member portal.

07 Email Communications

If you receive emails from us, you may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us directly. We may still send you transactional or membership-related messages, such as renewal notices, where appropriate.

08 Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Links to Other Websites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our member portal and members’ own business websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

10 Children’s Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

11 Your Choices & Rights

You may request to review, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about how it is used, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law.

12 Changes to This Policy
